NOCN Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Qualifications

The Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) course and is designed to help you gain a NOCN Level 4 Internal Quality Assurer qualification remotely, without the need for attending any classroom sessions. You will attend workshop sessions remotely and have access to presentations, handouts and other support materials and you will have a dedicated tutor to support and guide you through your programme, enabling you to complete both the theoretical and practical assessments.

The units can be achieved in the combinations as shown below, the cost of the course may vary on the combination of units chosen:

*Please note you will need a minimum of 2 Assessors to carry out IQA activities to generate the evidence required for the practical unit.

What the course involves:

The course is delivered as a 2-day remote workshop, after which there will be a series of assignments that will be submit electronically. Individual support sessions are offered to provide guidance and support and ensure successful achievement of their certificate.

What does the training involve?

You will gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance and develop the skills required to enable you to carry out internal quality assurer roles from within an organisation or assessment centre.

This qualification is assessed by the following method:

The qualifications are assessed through a range of written tasks, assignments, projects, case studies resulting in a portfolio produced to meet the assessment criteria. Assignment submission dates are negotiated and agreed with individual leaners to meet their needs/requirements but once agreed must be submitter on time and completed by the programme end date.

Please note: You will need an acceptable level of Literacy and Numeracy to be working at this Level. You must possess or be working towards either a GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above or hold Adult Literacy and Numeracy qualifications at Level 2.
