Access to HE Diploma offers opportunity to plug skills shortage in Engineering Sector

Individuals with higher level skills are a shortage area in the STEM sector and 49% of all UK engineering firms are experiencing skills shortages when recruiting. The engineering sector will be ever more crucial as we tackle global challenges posed by achieving net zero and pledges made at COP26.
An Access to HE Diploma can offer the first steps for adult learners wishing to enhance their careers in the sector or for those who are considering a change of direction in their career path. If you are interested in pursuing a career in Engineering an Access to HE Diploma can give you the skills to progress to Higher Education study and beyond.
Students will develop their knowledge in engineering science and principles through a range of Science, Maths and Engineering Modules to prepare them for further study at HE or as part of higher or degree level Apprenticeship.
