One Awards Managing Director, Fabienne Bailey recently visited Hong Kong as part of the Northern Powerhouse trade mission. The Department of International Trade delegation consisted of 12 innovative and forward-thinking businesses in the Education Sector at the recent Learning and Teaching Expo.

This move will widen the NOCN Group offer to the FE market to include Access to HE, regulated qualifications, Functional Skills and apprentice end point assessments.
NOCN Group is moving its Sheffield Office to a new modern, city centre office in Sheffield. The move is taking place over the coming weekend, from Friday 20 July to Monday 23 July

We are delighted to announce that following an extensive recruitment process before Christmas, Fabienne Bailey has joined One Awards as Managing Director. Fabienne has 18 years’ experience in the education and training sector along with 10 years’ senior management experience within the learning and skills environment and may already know many of you in the sector.
NOCN have published a statement today on the NOCN website, regarding NOCN, Carillion learners and apprentices and how NOCN is working with CITB and the Government task-force to support them in their efforts to ensure people continue their learning following the collapse of the firm.

NOCN has responded to the UK Government Select Committee on Education, Skills and the Economy on the Quality of Apprenticeships and Training with a detailed submission. As the country moves away from traditional apprenticeship frameworks of qualifications to the new apprenticeship standards, with end point assessments. This is all part of a public inquiry into how the reforms are going, to identify problems and suggest solutions to make apprenticeships better.
