Quality Assurance

All NOCN Recognised Centres are required to operate a robust Quality Assurance System which supports the delivery of accredited courses.

Quality Assurance Systems will vary between organisations and will be defined by their individual circumstances.

However, irrespective of the type of organisation, all Quality Assurance Systems must incorporate:

  • assessment practice
  • internal verification
  • standardisation

An organisation’s Quality Assurance System will be discussed during the Centre Recognition process to ensure that it meets our requirements.

Monitoring of this process is undertaken by experienced External Verifiers, who arrange quality assurance visits appropriate to the needs of each Recognised Centre.

Further information can be found in the Centre Handbook, which is available to Recognised Centres on your SharePoint site.

"NOCN qualifications are closely aligned to the needs of businesses and help students across the region improve their prospects for progression into employment and continued education".
